UID
Our CAFDEx UID application is an inventory tracking application with the Central
Application for Data Exchange (CAFDEx) enterprise software suite. CAFDEx UID
provides a comprehensive inventory tracking solution which features the ability
to track Unique Item Identification (UID) attributes across multiple organizations.
The user friendly interface seamlessly guides users through the UID life cycle
(analyze, capture, track, mark, and register). The software architecture consists
of an Oracle 10g Database, ASP.net, and web services to provide a robust, collaborative
web-based environment with flexible interfacing capabilities. The end result
is a tool that improves long term inventory management as well as automates UID
